Banach mentions that our happiness comes from within ourselves. I personally I agree with that statement because I feel that we are our own happiness. That whatever we do and how we feel makes us happy. But also what can influence us with our happiness is our surrounding and our society. When we adapt to our surroundings we make the best of it. The society’s comfort can be an influence our happiness.
I feel that in order to be happy we have to actually do something and make a difference with different situations also. Like for an example, being depressed and or going through harsh times people tend to give up and not try to make the best of the situation or at least to what they feel can make them happy in any terms.
Also Banach talks about the “The Ethics of Absolute Freedom” and I personally feel like we are not free. At moments I feel like we are free but in the long run we aren’t. I believe that we are captured and trapped in our own mind and thoughts. Also I believe that our essence comes before our existence. And if that is true then to me that means that if we are an orb or some form of a spirit then we are trapped in our body.
Not only if what I believe that our essence comes before our existence might be true, in our society today we are not fully free. We have consequences if we were to commit a crime. Get can get punish by our own actions. So basically we aren’t fully free to do anything we want. But if we are fully free then our society wouldn’t have any type of consequence.
In my opinion I do agree with what Banach was saying about happiness and feel that we are not fully free. But that’s just my opinion.

I like how you gave your opinion about mulitple topics and not just one. Your thoughts were very insightful and i agreed with them. You should try and open you ideas by using some quotes to back up you ideas... weather you agree or disagree with the quote it will make your argument a lot stronger.
ReplyDeleteYour thoughts about the ethic's of freedom brought up everything we discussed in class and showed how you payed attention and you backed up your opinion nicely.
Your statement "But if we are fully free then our society wouldn't have any type of consequence." Really made me think how no matter how hard we try we are held back by society and there rules... which can't be bended or broken in anyway.
You should once again reread over your work for punctuation and spelling mistakes, but overall i think this post was better then your last. Keep up the good work i can't wait to read your next post.
